opeth84 In my opinion, I think this version of Riding For A Fall is the best one, if you compare it to their later version in the band Extol.

The vocals appeal more to me - the way it's being built up both with vocals and instruments.

I still recommend Extol - Riding For A Fall. It is worth listening to, if you want a more clean vocal from start till finish. It's a perfect build up to another great song. Extol - Pearl. Favorite track: Riding For A Fall.

This promotional demo was recorded in Toproom Studios in Oslo in the spring of 2003. As some of you might notice two of the tracks is featured on the The Blueprint Dives album by Extol, in re-recorded versions. Not long after this promotional demo got released Ganglion sort of fused into Extol.
This recording is really hard to get hold today!
